Peer Review Process
The International Research Journal of Innovative Engineering (IRJIE) is dedicated to publishing high-quality, original, and impactful research in engineering, technology, and interdisciplinary sciences. To maintain the highest standards of academic excellence, all submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process. The review system is designed to ensure fairness, objectivity, confidentiality, and scholarly integrity throughout the publication cycle.
Initial Editorial Screening
Upon submission, each manuscript is evaluated by the Editorial Office and Editor-in-Chief to determine its suitability for the journal.
The initial screening includes:
- Verification of manuscript scope and relevance to IRJIE.
- Assessment of formatting and submission requirements.
- Evaluation of originality and research significance.
- Plagiarism screening using similarity detection tools.
- Compliance with publication ethics and research integrity standards.
Manuscripts that do not meet the journal's requirements may be returned to authors for revision before entering the peer-review stage.
Editorial Assessment and Activity
Each manuscript is subject to editorial oversight throughout the submission, peer-review, revision, and publication process. The designated editor or editorial team evaluates submissions for suitability, coordinates the peer-review process, considers reviewer reports, evaluates revised manuscripts, and addresses potential publication-ethics or research-integrity concerns.
Editorial activities may include:
1.Evaluating manuscripts during initial editorial assessment.
2.Identifying and inviting reviewers with relevant subject-area expertise.
3.Considering potential conflicts of interest.
4.Reviewing and evaluating reviewer reports.
5.Requesting clarification or revisions from authors where necessary.
6.Evaluating revised manuscripts and author responses.
7.Addressing potential ethical or publication-integrity concerns.
8.Making or recommending editorial decisions in accordance with the journal's editorial procedures.
Reviewer recommendations provide important expert input to the editorial decision-making process. The final editorial decision is made by the designated editor or Editor-in-Chief based on the scholarly merits of the manuscript, reviewer feedback, author revisions where applicable, and applicable editorial and publication-ethics requirements.
