Instructions for Authors

Manuscript Submission

The International Research Journal of Innovative Engineering (IRJIE) welcomes original and unpublished research contributions from researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and scholars worldwide. Manuscripts must be submitted directly by one of the authors through the journal's online submission system after registration and login.

Submissions made by individuals who are not listed as authors of the manuscript will not be considered for review. Authors are encouraged to ensure that all co-authors have approved the final version of the manuscript before submission.

Authors may also suggest up to three potential reviewers with relevant expertise in the manuscript's subject area. Suggested reviewers should not have any conflict of interest with the authors, and valid institutional email addresses should be provided wherever possible.

If authors experience any technical difficulties during the online submission process, they may submit their manuscript directly to editor@irjie.com

Manuscript Template

Authors are strongly encouraged to prepare their manuscripts using the official IRJIE manuscript template to ensure consistency in formatting and presentation. The template can be downloaded from the journal website.

Types of Articles

IRJIE accepts the following categories of manuscripts:

All submissions should present significant scientific, technological, or engineering contributions.

Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English and should be prepared using standard academic writing conventions.

The recommended manuscript length is between 6 and 15 pages, corresponding to approximately 3,000 to 8,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.

The manuscript should generally be organized using the following structure:

  5. Introduction
  6. Materials and Methods / Methodology
  7. Results
  8. Discussion

  10. Acknowledgements
  11. Funding Information

Figures and tables should be provided in high-quality format and appropriately referenced within the manuscript.

Title

The title should be concise, informative, and accurately reflect the content of the manuscript. Authors are encouraged to keep the title within 20 words while clearly highlighting the primary focus of the research.

Author Information

The following details must be provided for all authors:

  • Full name of each author
  • Institutional affiliation
  • Department and organization
  • City, State/Province, and Country
  • Email address of the corresponding author
  • ORCID ID (recommended)

One author must be designated as the corresponding author responsible for all communications during the review and publication process.

Abstract

The abstract should contain between 200 and 350 words and provide a comprehensive summary of the study, including:

  • Research background
  • Objectives
  • Methodology
  • Key findings
  • Major conclusions
  • Scientific and practical significance

The abstract should be self-contained and understandable without reference to the main text.

Keywords

Authors should provide 3 to 10 relevant keywords that accurately represent the scope and subject matter of the manuscript. Keywords play an important role in indexing and discoverability.

Introduction

The introduction should clearly present the research problem, objectives, significance of the study, and relevant background literature. It should establish the context of the research and explain the motivation behind the work.

Methodology

This section should describe the research design, materials, datasets, experimental setup, algorithms, software tools, analytical methods, and statistical procedures employed in the study.

The methodology should be sufficiently detailed to enable other researchers to replicate the work.

Appropriate section numbering may be used, such as:

1.3 Evaluation Metrics

Results

Results should be presented clearly and logically using text, tables, figures, and charts where appropriate. Data should not be unnecessarily duplicated across multiple formats.

All findings, calculations, performance metrics, and statistical analyses should be included in this section.

Discussion

The discussion should interpret the results, compare findings with existing literature, explain the significance of the outcomes, and highlight the strengths and limitations of the study.

Authors should clearly demonstrate how their findings contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field.

Conclusion

The conclusion should summarize the key findings and contributions of the study. Authors should emphasize the practical applications, research implications, and potential future directions arising from the work.

Acknowledgements

Authors may acknowledge individuals, institutions, laboratories, funding agencies, or organizations that provided support during the research and manuscript preparation process.

Acknowledgements should be concise and limited to contributors who do not meet the criteria for authorship.

Funding Information

Authors must disclose all sources of financial support received for conducting the research and preparing the manuscript. Grant numbers and funding agency details should be provided where applicable.

If no external funding was received, authors should state:

"No external funding was received for this research."

Conflict of Interest

Authors are required to disclose any financial, professional, institutional, or personal relationships that could influence the research findings or interpretation of results.

If no conflicts exist, authors should include the following statement:

"The authors declare that there are no conflicts of interest regarding the publication of this manuscript."

IRJIE is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics, transparency, and academic integrity throughout the peer-review and publication process.

References

IRJIE follows the APA (7th Edition) referencing style. Authors must ensure that all cited sources are included in the reference list and that references are accurate, complete, and consistently formatted. References should be arranged alphabetically by the first author's surname.
