Digital twin technology has emerged as a transformative paradigm for enabling real-time monitoring, simulation, and optimization of complex physical systems. In healthcare, smart hospital infrastructure demands continuous monitoring of critical systems such as energy management, patient flow, medical equipment utilization, environmental control, and emergency response coordination. Digital twins provide a virtual replica of hospital infrastructure that integrates real-time data from IoT sensors, hospital information systems, and building management systems to enable predictive analytics and intelligent decision-making

This paper explores the design and implementation of digital twin architectures for smart hospital infrastructure monitoring and management. It highlights how digital twins can improve operational efficiency, reduce energy consumption, optimize resource allocation, and enhance patient safety. The integration of IoT, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and simulation models enables hospitals to transition from reactive to predictive and prescriptive management systems.

The study also discusses challenges such as data integration complexity, cybersecurity risks, interoperability issues, and high deployment costs. Furthermore, it presents a structured methodology for designing scalable and interoperable digital twin systems tailored for healthcare environments. The findings suggest that digital twins can significantly enhance hospital resilience, operational efficiency, and clinical workflow coordination when properly implemented
