Abstract

The rapid transformation of enterprise information technology has created a growing demand for networking environments that can automatically adapt to changing workloads, security conditions, application requirements, and infrastructure failures. Conventional enterprise networks often depend on manually configured policies and static resource allocation, which can limit operational efficiency and resilience in dynamic cloud environments. Adaptive enterprise networking combines software-defined networking, cloud orchestration, artificial intelligence, automation, observability, and security controls to enable intelligent decision-making across distributed infrastructure. This study examines an adaptive networking approach for intelligent automation across resilient and secure cloud infrastructure environments. The proposed approach integrates centralized policy management, real-time telemetry, automated workload placement, dynamic traffic optimization, anomaly detection, network segmentation, and automated recovery mechanisms. Network conditions and application requirements are continuously monitored so that routing, resource allocation, security policies, and service configurations can be dynamically adjusted. Resilience is strengthened through redundancy, automated failover, workload migration, and recovery orchestration, while security is incorporated through identity-aware access control, micro-segmentation, encrypted communications, and continuous monitoring. The research methodology adopts a design-oriented approach involving requirement identification, architecture development, automation-policy design, threat and failure modeling, prototype implementation, and performance evaluation. Key evaluation criteria include availability, latency, resource utilization, recovery time, security effectiveness, scalability, and automation accuracy. The study aims to demonstrate how intelligent automation can transform enterprise networking into an adaptive infrastructure capable of maintaining secure, efficient, and resilient services under changing operational conditions
