Abstract

Digital businesses today need more likely than ever flexible, scalable, and intelligent architecture that can support the integration of heterogeneous applications, cloud services, data platform and new technologies. Traditional monolithic integration approaches tend to give rise to high coupledness, poor scalability and reduce rate of response to ever-changing business needs. The agile and smart digital business ecosystems of today in this paper I will present a Microservices based API connectivity framework. The provided framework is an integration of a microservice architecture, API gateways, service discovery, a containerized deployment, event-driven communication, and intelligent connection mechanisms to construct secure, scaled and loosely coupled interactions between distributed business services. The API connectivity is developed in a manner that it provides reusable service interfaces, standardized communications protocols, centralized access control and a dynamic coordination of services. The smart analytics and observability mechanisms are useful in real-time service observability, performance measurement, anomaly detection, as well as adaptive resource management. The framework also allows interoperability with clouds, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, artificial intelligence (AI) service and enterprise applications and changes its operational abilities. Framework assessment determines performance of connectivity, scalability, response time, availability of the service, fault tolerance and integration overhead under typical digital business scenarios. The given strategy offers an organized basis to speed up applications integration, endorse continuous business innovation, and responsive digital ecosystems. The results emphasize how agility, interoperability, and the smartness of decisions in swiftly changing enterprise settings can be enhanced using microservices-based API connectivity
